William Pleis (born August 5, 1937 in Kirkwood, Missouri) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played from 1961 to 1966 for the Minnesota Twins.
On April 22, 1961, Pleis notched the first ever win for the Minnesota Twins in Minnesota. He also appeared in the 1965 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers — a team he would serve as a scout for several years after the end of his playing career.
